Playing chess makes kids smarter

Virtual Salisbury Chess Club Strategies for Kids.

Join Mato from Chess School SA in a weekly Virtual Chess Club. Join in the fun and learn  the essential tips and tricks to win at chess!

Facilitated by Mato from Chess School SA, this weekly (5 weeks) program will help children improve their game by

working on the best openings and strategies.

Facilitated in a safe online environment, in the comfort of your own home. The weekly sessions will be run in two parts:

  • Cisco Webex meeting-coaching
  • Chess tournament

Access to a home computer or tablet and internet access is essential. All enrollment needs including set up will be emailed to the parent before the first session.

Commencing Friday 8th May (every Friday for 5 weeks) 4pm – 5.30pm

First session will start at 3.30pm to ensure all online access if complete and working)

5 week session block for $15.

Please note:

Due to the nature of the program, one ticket  per child (also needing own device to contribute to tournament).

It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure appropriate audio and microphone set up, program downloads and safe access to internet.

The sessions are supervised online by an experienced and qualified Chess instructor but parent’s need to be supervising all online behavior and access within their own  home.

These sessions are appropriate for Primary School Children only
